香港的儿童常被喻打机低头族，父母对子女沉迷于网络世界似乎亦无能为力，又想不出其他方法取代，但美国德州有父母却用上时间，教育儿子背圣经金句，而且效果显著。
美国德州有教会挑战父母鼓励孩子背诵经文代替打机。"基督教今日报"报导，一对父母教导儿子泰纳（Tanner Hemness）背诵以英文26个字母为首的经文列表，而泰纳当时只有3岁半，父母初时觉得他可能无法背完全部经文。
泰纳的父亲汉姆斯称，当他看到教会发给他的经文列表，连"耶稣哭了"最短的金句都不在其中，他认为孩子没有可能做得到。不过汉姆斯仍尝试，"在厨房黑板上，一次写上一节金句，陪著孩子一起背诵；每增加一节，我他就要求他从字母A开始背，直到他熟记所有金句。"
最后泰纳以个6星期，用了一个暑假的时间，就把A到Z的26节金句都背起来，汉姆斯表示："这真的超乎我的想像！我真的很以儿子为荣。"
泰纳完整背诵金句的可爱影片更在网络被网友疯传，短短6天，影片就被网友分享超过40万次，累积超过3,200万观看次数。
